At Blanket Dudes, every blanket is woven for one family — yours. We stand behind the quality of every blanket we make, and your happiness is the whole point. Because each blanket is personalized and made to order with the name you provide, our return and refund process works a little differently than traditional retail. Please read this policy before placing your order.
1. Our 30-Day Happiness Guarantee
If something isn't right with your order, contact us within 30 days of delivery and we will make it right.
Within that 30-day window, we will work with you to:
- Send a free replacement for damaged, defective, or incorrect blankets.
- Provide a full refund to your original payment method for qualifying issues.
- Issue store credit if you prefer.
To start a claim, email [email protected] (or message us through live chat) with your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photos of the blanket and packaging. We respond to all requests within 2–3 business days.
Requests submitted more than 30 days after the carrier-confirmed delivery date are not eligible, except where required by law.
2. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Orders
If your blanket arrives damaged, defective, with a weaving error, or does not match what you ordered, we will fix it at no cost to you. Please contact us within 30 days of delivery and include:
- Your full name and order number.
- A clear description of the issue.
- At least two photos — one of the full blanket and one close-up of the defect, damage, or error. If damage happened in transit, include photos of the outer packaging.
Once approved, we will send a free replacement or issue a full refund. Please do not throw the blanket away until our team confirms your claim. In most cases you will not need to send anything back.
3. Personalized, Made-to-Order Products
Every Blanket Dudes blanket is woven specifically for you with the name you typed at checkout. Because of that:
- We do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, buyer's remorse, or a size selected by mistake.
- We cannot accept returns for spelling or name errors that match what was entered at checkout. Please double-check every name before you order — what you type is exactly what we weave.
- Small color variations between your screen and the woven blanket are normal and are not considered defects.
- Blankets that have been used, washed, or altered are not eligible for return unless they are defective.
4. Exchanges
Because each blanket is made to order, we do not offer size or design exchanges after production begins. Approved replacements for damaged or incorrect items are made with the same specifications as your original order (corrected where the error was ours).
5. European Union & European Economic Area Customers
The 14-day withdrawal right under the EU Consumer Rights Directive does not apply to goods made to a consumer's specifications or clearly personalized, which includes our blankets. If your item is damaged, defective, or not as described, your full statutory rights remain in force and we will remedy it under applicable law.
6. Statutory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights you may have under the laws of your country or state. If any part of this policy conflicts with applicable law, that part will be adjusted to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain in effect.
7. Refund Timing
Once approved, refunds are sent to your original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank. You will receive an email when your refund has been issued. If you don't see it after 10 business days, please check with your bank first, then contact us.
8. Order Cancellations
Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase as long as weaving has not started. Contact us right away at [email protected] with your order number. Once your blanket is on the loom, the order cannot be cancelled because it is already being made just for you. Approved cancellations are refunded in full within 5–10 business days.
